一、 上海市基本概况
Brief Introduction of Shanghai
上海地处太平洋西岸。2016年，上海全市生产总值达到2.7万亿元，过去五年年均增长7.4%，人均生产总值10.31万元，相当于世界上中等发达国家或地区的水平，是中国最大的经济中心之一。2016年上海进出口总值2.9万亿人民币，同比增长2.7%。
Shanghai is a coastal city in the western part of the Pacific Ocean. In 2016, Shanghai’s GDP reached 2.7trillion yuan, representing an average increase of 7.4% over the past five years. Shanghai’s GDP per capital reached USD 15290, the same as in medium-level developed countries in the world. Shanghai has become one of the largest economic centers in China. In 2016, the total value of Shanghai's imports and exports was RMB 2.9 trillion, an increase of 2.7%.
二、 与美国经贸往来情况
Economic and trade ties with U.S.
（一）双向投资
美国是上海主要的外资来源地之一。至2016年底，美国在上海投资项目8506个，占上海市的9.2%，合同外资209.8亿美元，超过150家美国公司在上海设立了地区总部；至2016年底，上海企业对美国投资项目789个，总投资额280.72亿美元，其中中方投资额180.61亿美元。
(1) The US investment to Shanghai. The US is the main source of foreign investment to Shanghai. By the end of 2016, American investors have invested 8502 projects in Shanghai, accounting for 9.2% of the city’s total, with the contract value of USD 20.98 billion. More than 150 US companies have set up their regional headquarters in Shanghai.
Shanghai’s investment to the US. The US is one of the important “going global” destinations for Shanghai companies. By the end of 2016, Shanghai invested 789 projects to the US, with a total investment of USD 28.07 billion, of which USD 18.06 billion was committed by the Chinese investors.
（二）进出口贸易
美国是上海仅次于欧盟的第二大贸易伙伴。2016年，上海与美国进出口贸易额为4764.6亿人民币，同比增长4.5%，其中对美国出口2976.5亿元人民币，同比增长6%；对美国进口1788.1亿元人民币，同比增长2.1%。上海向美国出口主要商品依次是自动数据处理设备及其部件、电话机、服装及衣着附件等。
(2) Import and Export between the US and Shanghai. The US is the second large trade partner of Shanghai. In 2016, the trade volume between Shanghai and the US was RMB 476.46 billion，an increase of 4.5%，of which exporting to the U.S. 297.65 billion RMB, an increase of 6%; importing 178.81 billion RMB to the U.S., an increase of 2.1%. The exports to the U.S. are mainly automated data processing equipment and its components, telephones, clothing and clothing accessories,etc.
上海迪士尼度假区是由美国加州华特迪士尼公司与上海申迪集团于2011年3月共同投资的合作项目，总投资达到55亿美元，注册资本超过37亿美元，是上海市最大的外商投资项目。合作双方投资设立了三家公司，其中上海国际主题乐园有限公司和上海国际主题乐园配套设施有限公司，上海申迪集团持有57%的股份，迪士尼持有43%股份；上海国际主题乐园和度假区管理有限公司，迪士尼持有70%的股份，上海申迪集团持有30%的股份。管理公司负责度假区的创意、开发和运营工作。
上海迪士尼度假区是中国大陆首座迪士尼度假区，也是全球第六座迪士尼度假区，而上海迪士尼乐园则是全球第十二个迪士尼主题乐园。上海迪士尼度假区于2011年4月8日破土动工，并于2016年6月16日正式迎来首批游客。盛大开幕时，上海迪士尼度假区的占地面积为3.9平方公里（963公顷），包括上海迪士尼乐园,一个由六大主题园区组成的独特主题乐园、上海迪士尼乐园酒店和玩具总动员酒店两家主题酒店、迪士尼小镇（大型购物餐饮娱乐区）、一座百老汇风格剧院、星愿公园以及其他户外休闲区域。乐园通过专为中国游客度身定制的原味文化体验和主题设计，呈现经典迪士尼故事讲述和角色。开幕至今，上海迪士尼乐园已经迎接了超过1100万名游客。上海迪士尼度假区为中国本地各类人才提供更多绝佳的就业机会，并且直接创造成千上万个工作岗位，已录用超过一万名演职人员。开幕一周年以来，上海迪士尼度假区以其独有的创意和创新，连续斩获国内外多项行业殊荣。中美合作双方还将不断深入合作，探索本地市场的特点，于2018年，新增全新主题园区“玩具总动园”。
Shanghai Disney Resort is a joint venture between The Walt Disney Company and Shanghai Shendi Group，which is the largest foreign invested project with about total investment ＄5.5 billion and registered capital ＄3.7 billion, comprised of two owner companies (Shanghai International Theme Park Company Limited and Shanghai International Theme Park Associated Facilities Company Limited) and a management company (Shanghai International Theme Park and Resort Management Company Limited). Shanghai Shendi Group holds 57% of the shares and Disney holds the remaining 43% of shares of the owner companies. Disney has a 70% stake and Shanghai Shendi Group has a 30% stake in the joint venture management company. The management company is responsible for creating, developing and operating the resort on behalf of the owner companies.
Shanghai Disney Resort, the first Disney resort in Mainland China, the sixth around the world, and Shanghai Disneyland opens as Disney’s twelfth theme park worldwide. Shanghai Disney Resort welcomed its first official guests on June 16, 2016. The groundbreaking, with Chinese partner Shanghai Shendi Group, took place on April 8, 2011. At Grand Opening, Shanghai Disney Resort covers 3.9 square kilometers (963 acres).The resort is home to the Shanghai Disneyland theme park, featuring six lands, as well as two themed hotels – Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel, Disneytown, a large shopping, dining and entertainment district, a Broadway-style theatre, Wishing Star Park and other outdoor recreation areas. Shanghai Disneyland is a Magic Kingdom-style theme park featuring classic Disney storytelling and characters but with authentic cultural touches and themes tailored specifically for the people of China. Shanghai Disneyland has welcome over 11 million guests since June 2016 Grand Opening. Shanghai Disney Resort became a significant employer locally, with more than 10,000 Cast Members hired. The resort will continue to generate many great employment opportunities for Chinese talent at all levels. In the past year, the resort has already been recognized with multiple Chinese and international awards, as a perfect demonstration of the relentless creativity, innovation. The Walt Disney Company and Shanghai Shendi Group will continue to work closely with each other and explore the characteristics of the local market.The resort has announced its first post-opening expansion, a new immersive land themed to the Toy Story franchise, set to open in 2018.
